Discover the roots of Royal Air Force pilot training with this detailed 1/32 scale DH.82A Tiger Moth model kit, complete with WWII RAF cadet figures. Designed for scale modellers and aviation history enthusiasts alike, this kit depicts the iconic de Havilland Tiger Moth – the legendary biplane trainer that prepared thousands of pilots for service in World War II.
Introduced in the 1930s, the Tiger Moth became the backbone of the RAF’s expanding training programme in the lead-up to WWII. As tensions rose across Europe, Britain rapidly increased the size of its air force, establishing flight schools across the country and calling on both military and civilian instructors to train a new generation of pilots.
This model captures the aircraft in its training role, alongside RAF cadet figures – offering rich diorama potential and historical storytelling.
