Beyond the school walls, the lion gang Shishi-gumi appoints a new leader while the headmaster of Cherryton Academy joins the Council of Living Beings to select the next Beastar, a choice that could reshape society. Readers are also treated to a powerful flashback into Legoshi and Jack’s puppyhoods, alongside insight into the post war social engineering that maintains the uneasy truce between carnivores and herbivores.
