The Bolt Action Soviet Katyusha brings one of the most iconic and fearsome Soviet weapons of the Second World War to your tabletop. Known for its distinctive shriek and devastating barrages, the Katyusha multiple rocket launcher was a simple yet brutally effective design — combining mobility, firepower, and shock effect.
The name ‘Katyusha’ refers to a series of truck-mounted multiple rocket launcher systems, developed to deliver rapid, concentrated strikes before swiftly repositioning to avoid counterbattery fire. Among the most common configurations was the BM-13 launcher mounted on Lend-Lease Studebaker trucks, providing the Red Army with a reliable and adaptable artillery platform.
On the Bolt Action battlefield, the Katyusha wields a powerful Multiple Rocket Launcher, capable of causing devastating damage when properly employed. While it requires careful positioning and a touch of luck, its potential for destruction makes it a valuable and cost-effective addition to any Soviet Armoured Platoon.
