Zvezda Soviet Tank Hunters with Dogs 1/35 Scale Plastic Model Kit – WWII Soviet Figures

The Zvezda Soviet Tank Hunters with Dogs 1/35 Scale Plastic Model Kit represents a lesser-known but historically documented aspect of early Second World War Soviet military tactics. During the 1930s, the Red Army developed specialised anti-tank dog units to support infantry when dedicated anti-armour weapons were limited. These dogs were trained to carry explosives beneath enemy armoured vehicles, intended to detonate on contact or after a short delay.

While their battlefield effectiveness proved limited due to training challenges and combat conditions, these units remain a notable and unusual part of Soviet World War II history. This kit depicts Soviet soldiers operating alongside anti-tank dogs, making it suitable for historical dioramas and Eastern Front modelling projects.

The kit includes 3 Soviet soldiers and 3 dogs, each presented in different poses. Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly, it is designed for 1/35 scale WWII scenes.
