Ultimate Werewolf – Rules of Play says:

Ultimate Werewolf is a classic party game – in it you each take on a role in a sleepy 16th century village that is being invaded by some very hungry werewolves! Some of you will be fearful villagers, intent on destroying the terrifying fiends while the others are leading a secret double life as werewolves who’ll snack on you the first chance they get. Every night there’s a murder, and every day there’s a trial that follows to reveal the truth. You must all decide who the real villagers are, to return to a peaceful (and arguably more boring) life!
