The Italeri Opel Blitz Type A 4×4 model kit is a detailed 1:35 scale replica of one of the most important transport vehicles used by the German Army during the Second World War. The Opel Blitz medium truck formed the backbone of Wehrmacht logistics, providing reliable transport across a wide range of operational theatres.
This model represents the 4×4 Type A variant, designed to improve mobility across difficult terrain. With its robust construction and dependable performance, the Opel Blitz was used extensively from North Africa to the Eastern Front. Its practical design allowed for ease of production, maintenance and repair, making it a key asset in wartime logistics.
The kit features new moulds that capture the structure and details of the vehicle, along with rubber tyres for added realism. Once assembled, the model measures approximately 17.1 cm in length, making it an ideal size for display or inclusion in diorama projects.
The 4×4 configuration adds extra interest for modellers, offering a version of the vehicle capable of handling challenging terrain conditions, making it a strong addition to any World War II vehicle collection.
