Airfix Messerschmitt Bf110E E-2 TROP – 1

The Airfix Messerschmitt Bf110E E-2 TROP is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit depicting one of the most recognisable twin-engined heavy fighters of the Second World War. With 108 parts, this kit offers a detailed and rewarding build, ideal for hobbyists interested in historical aircraft and military aviation.

This model represents the tropical TROP variant, reflecting the aircraft’s deployment in North Africa and the Mediterranean. With a completed wingspan of 225mm, the kit captures the distinctive profile and presence of the Bf 110, a design known for its speed, range, and heavy armament during the early years of the war.

Designed for skill level 2, this kit is suitable for modellers aged 8 and up, making it a great option for those developing their scale modelling skills. The set includes two genuine paint scheme options, allowing builders to choose between different historical finishes and expand their model collection with variety.

Inside the box you will find the plastic model kit components, instruction sheet, paint layout sheet, and decals required to complete the build. This makes it a strong choice for scale model builders, aviation enthusiasts, and collectors looking to recreate an important aircraft from WWII history.

The Messerschmitt Bf 110 played a significant role during the war as a heavy fighter designed to outperform contemporaries with its twin-engine power and heavy armament. While it faced challenges during the Battle of Britain, it proved highly effective in other roles, including long-range fighter bomber and ground support operations across multiple theatres.
