Airfix Sopwith Pup – 1

Sopwith Pup – Airfix 1:72 Scale Model Kit

The Airfix Sopwith Pup 1:72 scale plastic model kit is part of the Vintage Classics range and is ideal for beginner modellers seeking a straightforward, enjoyable build. With 26 parts and a single scheme option, this kit provides an accessible and satisfying modelling experience. Supplied unassembled and unpainted, it includes a plastic model kit, instruction sheet, paint layout guide, and decals to complete the iconic aircraft.

The Sopwith Pup, originally known as the Sopwith Scout, is a celebrated British fighter of the First World War. Smaller than its predecessor, the Sopwith 1½ Strutter, it earned the nickname ‘Pup’ for its compact size. Entering combat in late 1916, the Pup was renowned for its exceptional manoeuvrability and dogfighting prowess, helping the Allies maintain aerial supremacy. Nearly 1,800 were built, armed with a single Vickers .303in machine gun.

This kit is perfect for hobbyists revisiting classic aircraft modelling or newcomers wanting to explore aviation history through a hands-on project.
