Apostle by David Annandale is a Chaos-focused Warhammer 40,000 novel set on Legitur, a world devoted to the sacred writings of the Imperial Creed. Beneath its seemingly pious surface, dark secrets lie hidden within its towering paper hives, and one being born of those secrets has returned to claim his revenge.
Cerastes, Dark Apostle of the Word Bearers, intends to resurrect the Eightfold Bane and convert the world he once called home to the worship of Chaos. Opposed by the fearsome Palatine Aesura and her Sisters of Battle of the Order of the Thorn, his ambition threatens to plunge Legitur into a bloody revolution.
