Forbidden Island – Rules of Play says:

Dare to discover danger in the Forbidden Island board game! Are you good at thinking on your feet? In Forbidden Island you need to be, as the tile your character is standing on could literally go underwater! In this game you work with the other players to try and collect treasures before the island goes underwater. Forget the nagging thought of how silly it is that people keep leaving treasure in remote places, and grab what you can! Teamwork ensures you survive and the beauty of the board makes you want to play again. It teaches some practical life advice too – always make sure you have an escape route!
