Iraqi Tank T-55 Enigma – Tamiya (1/35)

The Tamiya Iraqi Tank T 55 Enigma 1 35 scale model kit accurately recreates the distinctive Iraqi upgraded T 55 variant used during the 1991 Gulf War. Known by Coalition forces as the “Enigma”, this unique tank featured additional armour blocks mounted to the turret and hull to improve battlefield protection. Several examples were captured during the conflict, making it a notable vehicle from the Persian Gulf War.

This detailed static display model precisely captures the imposing silhouette of the T 55 Enigma, including its additional armour suite. The turret armour block frames are moulded separately to enhance surface detail, while the hull armour blocks are moulded together with their frames to simplify construction without sacrificing accuracy. Belt type tracks are included to recreate the tank’s distinctive running gear.

With a completed length of 259mm and width of 109mm, this 1 35 scale tank model offers a substantial and realistic display piece for military model enthusiasts. A crew figure is also included to add extra character to your finished build.

This kit requires assembly and painting, making it ideal for modellers who enjoy detailed construction and finishing work. It is suitable for hobbyists interested in modern military vehicles, Gulf War armour and Iraqi armoured units.
