Italeri B-52G Stratofortress – 1

The Italeri B-52G Stratofortress is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit depicting the G variant of the famous American long-range strategic bomber.

The B-52 Stratofortress was produced by Boeing from 1955 and became one of the most recognisable aircraft associated with the Cold War. The B-52G was the most produced variant and incorporated changes including a stronger structure, updated avionics and increased fuel capacity to provide greater operational range.

The B-52G entered service with Strategic Air Command wings from the early 1960s and later saw combat during Operation Desert Storm in 1991, adding to the historical interest of this aircraft for aviation modellers.

This Italeri kit includes super decal sheets covering four versions, along with a colour instruction sheet to assist with assembly and finishing.
