Italeri – Toyota Land Cruiser Safari Model Kit (1:24 Scale)
Kit No. 3681
The Toyota Land Cruiser is one of the most respected nameplates in automotive history. Developed by Toyota Motor Corporation in the 1950s, it remains the company’s longest-running vehicle line from the “Land of the Rising Sun.”
Among its most iconic generations, the J-40 series (produced from the 1960s through to the 1980s) became renowned for its durability, reliability, and no-nonsense design. Available in short, medium, and long wheelbases including the commercially successful J-44 it was offered with both diesel and petrol engines depending on market needs.
The Safari version enhanced the Land Cruiser’s already formidable reputation, featuring more extreme equipment and trim designed to tackle the harshest environmental conditions. It became synonymous with dependable off-road performance in the 1970s.
