Pillage – Hardcover Rulebook

Pillage – Hardcover Rulebook by Victrix

Pillage is a captivating narrative-driven skirmish game set in the Viking Age and early medieval period, designed specifically for tabletop gamers, hobbyists, and wargamers. Written by Guillaume Rousselot, this hardcover rulebook immerses players in a world where every battle tells a story, allowing you to storm enemy villages in search of loot or defend your home from fire and steel.

With fast-paced mechanics and rich, cinematic moments, Pillage offers an engaging gameplay experience. Players can climb towers, dive into rivers, rescue civilians, or set the world ablaze, ensuring that no two games are ever the same. The emphasis on storytelling, terrain, and objective-based play transforms your miniatures into heroes, cowards, and legends, creating a saga of your own making.

This rulebook explores the period from the 793 raid on Lindisfarne Abbey to the Battle of Hastings in 1066, while also being adaptable to conflicts from Antiquity through to the end of the Middle Ages. The average game duration is 1 to 2 hours, making it perfect for quick skirmishes or longer gaming sessions.

Designed for both new and veteran players, Pillage accommodates a table size of 48″ x 48″ and requires 15-30 miniatures representing one of the seven factions. Base sizes include 25mm round for infantry and 40mm round for cavalry (25mm x 50mm bases are also compatible). The rulebook includes comprehensive rules, gameplay tips, advice for assembling and painting miniatures, and guidance for creating simple tabletop scenery.

Elevate your tabletop gaming experience with Pillage, where strategy, storytelling, and skirmish combat come together in an unforgettable adventure.
