Zvezda Cataphracts Armoured Heavy Cavalry 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit – Persian Ancient Figures

The Zvezda Cataphracts Armoured Heavy Cavalry 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit depicts one of the most recognisable forms of heavy cavalry used in ancient warfare. Originating in Persia, cataphracts were deployed across Eurasia and Northern Africa and were known for their heavily armoured riders and horses. They typically fought with long lances, supported by swords and bows, and were used as elite shock cavalry to break enemy infantry and cavalry formations.

This plastic model kit includes 20 mounted figures, consisting of 20 riders and 20 horses, arranged in 8 different poses. The set represents cataphracts as they would have appeared in ancient Persian armies, making it suitable for historical modelling, dioramas, or tabletop wargaming projects set in the ancient period.

The kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.
