Zvezda MiG-31B Foxhound Russian Long Range Interceptor 1:72 Aircraft Model Kit

The Zvezda MiG-31B Foxhound 1:72 scale plastic model kit recreates Russia’s formidable long-range supersonic interceptor, designed to defend vast airspace at extreme speeds and altitudes. Accepted into service in 1990, the MiG-31B was an advanced development of the original MiG-31, featuring an air-to-air refuelling system that dramatically increased flight range and patrol endurance.

This interceptor became a cornerstone of Russian air defence, capable of sustained high-speed operations and long-duration missions. In 2013, MiG-31 aircraft demonstrated their exceptional endurance by setting a record non-stop flight of over 8,000 kilometres in just over seven hours, supported by multiple in-flight refuellings.

This 1:72 scale aircraft model kit consists of 121 plastic parts and builds into an impressive model measuring approximately 31.5cm in length. The kit includes a display stand, making it ideal for desktop or shelf presentation, and features decals for an authentic Soviet-era MiG-31B finish. Accurate proportions and surface detail make it well suited for Cold War aviation enthusiasts, interceptor collectors, and scale aircraft modellers.

The Zvezda MiG-31B Foxhound model kit is perfect for display, Cold War aircraft collections, or modern Russian aviation dioramas, offering a striking representation of one of the fastest operational combat aircraft ever built.
